Prepare For The 6th Season Of “The Biggest Loser”

It looks like all of the shows that we love are finally making their season premieres. “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” (my two favorite) have already begun. Of course there are more shows to come that include “Smallville”, “Heroes”, and the hit reality inspiration “The Biggest Loser”. This show is the best reality show I have ever watched and is the only one I can actually sit through.

Michael Phelps To Host 34th Season Premiere Of SNL

Michael Phelps is being called a hero to the United States for the 8 gold medals that he won for his country while at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. His incredible talents have won him stardom and popularity and it seems a job to host one of the funniest show on television.

SNL has asked that Michael Phelps host their next show. The record breaking swimmer stated that he will gladly be there for them during their 34th season premiere - which will air September 13th on NBC.

‘ER’ Says Farwell This Fall With Its Final Season

‘ER’ will be starting its final season this fall and a few of the cast members will be saying their farewells early on during the season. Abby Lockhart (Maura Tierney) just might be making her way to Boston with her husband Luka and their son.

On the bright side we will get to see some familiar faces including John Carter (Noah Wyle) and Ray Barnett (Shayne West). Last time we saw Ray he had lost both of his legs after a car hit him. He is back to the ER with his prosthetic legs and still has the hots for Neela.

NBC Pushes Jay Leno Out

Jay Leno has been giving the date for his final episode on the Tonight Show. NBC told Leno that he will be taking a mandatory retirement and his last episode will be May29th, 2009. The man to take his place will be late night host Conan O’Brien starting June 1st, 2009.

O’Brien currently has his own show - but will be giving it up in March or April and will be moving from New York all the way to Los Angeles. The man to take O’Brien’s place will be Jimmy Fallon.

Dozens Of Television Shows Get The Cut

It’s time to say goodbye to some shows that we have grown fond of and a few that we didn’t have a chance to get to know. Dozens of television shows are getting cut from stations like ABC, CW, CBS, FOX, and NBC. Below is a list of all the shows and how long they were on the air.

30 Rock Finale Episode Airs This Week

This week is 30 Rock’s season finale episode and many of us are wondering what to expect. First off Liz Lemon thinks she’s pregnant. Both Dennis and Floyd have both visited recently – which makes us wonder…!

Jack is leaving GE to go to DC – but soon finds out that things are not as great as he had hoped them to be. Some of the guest stars include Edie Falco who is reprising her role as CC and Mathew Broderick who is playing a character known as Cooter. The name alone leaves much to the imagination.

Scrubs Says Farewell To NBC This Week

How quickly the time flies by. It seemed that we were all excited to once again be able to watch our favorite comedy – Scrubs. Yet, now the time has come for them to say farewell. The finale episode airs Thursday May 8th on NBC at 8:30 p.m.

Jimmy Fallon To Take Over For Conan O’Brien

Jimmy Fallon will taking the place of Conan O’Brien’s late night TV show. Fallon seemed to be the best one for the job and will taking O’Brien’s place on NBC starting in 2009.

But while the Peacock remains gagged, both the Hollywood Reporter and Variety are reporting that Fallon has already signed on the dotted line. The network itself has yet to comment and will likely wait to confirm the news at their upfront presentation in New York May 12.

Top TV Shows To Start Up This Week

Some of our favorite television shows have been lying dormant to the writers’ strike and they are finally getting back on their feet. This week some of the best are starting back up again.
