Fourth Season Opener Of ‘Weeds’ Bring In Millions Of Viewers

‘Weeds’ premiered its fourth season this week and it managed to bring in a large audience. In fact it attracted more viewers than any other original series episode that Showtime has hosted in over four years.

The Monday “Weeds” half-hour harvested 1.35 million total viewers, which gave a strong leg up to the 10:30 half-hour “Secret Diary of a Call Girl.” Its 949,000 viewers made “Diary” the highest-rated opening-night debut of a new series in Showtime’s 30-year history.

Fans Dissapointed Over Season Finale Of Battlestar Galactica

Many fans were upset and disappointed with the mid-season finale of ‘Battlestar Galactica’. The episode left people wanting more – which in general is the purpose of a season finale episode. When have we ever been left not wanting more when the season has ended?

Will Katherine Heigl Leave ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

Earlier this week Katherine Heigl chose to decline a nomination for an Emmy Award. Since then there have been many rumors that have been floating on the internet claiming that the young actress will be leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

She took her name out for this year’s Emmy race because she felt her character, Dr. Izzie Stevens, had not been given adequate material. Recently, Heigl signed on to star in and produce a movie based on the book “Escape” by Carolyn Jessop, the former Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints member who fled the polygamous sect and helped convict leader Warren Jeffs.

Woman Finally Wins ‘Top Chef’

After four season we are happy to finally see a woman take the top spot on one of Bravo’s his reality shows ‘Top Chef’. Stephanie Izard is the 31 year old chef from Chicago and has beaten out 15 other contestants in order to win the show.

Michelle Obama To Guest Host On “The View”

Michelle Obama could be the next first lady of the United States and she is going to share her thoughts with the whole nation as a guest host on The View. She is going to appear on June 18th. Michelle Obama should have no trouble fitting in and voicing her opinions on live television in front of the whole world.

CBS May Have Trouble With New ‘Swingtown’

CBS new hit drama ‘Swingtown’ aired the pilot episode last night. The new show surrounds a conservative couple in 1976 that move into a new neighborhood where drugs and free love are everywhere.

Bruce (Jack Davenport) and Susan (Molly Parker) Miller are the new kids in town. Before they can unpack, their sex-crazed neighbors Tom (Grant Show) and Tina (Lana Parrilla) Decker show up at the front door. The Deckers invite the Millers to their all-you-can-mate picnic.

Cast Of ‘Simpsons’ Get New Salary Of $400,000

20th century Fox and the voice cast of ‘The Simpsons’ have been negotiating for months to work out a new four year deal that would make everyone happy. The new pact states that the top actors of the show will make $400,000 per episode – which is lower than the $500,000 that the cast was asking for.

Kim Cattrall To Star In New HBO Show

One of the leading ladies from “Sex and the City” is making her way back to HBO. Kim Cattrall plays Samantha Jones in the hit series and new movie “Sex and the City”. The movie (so far) seemed to be a big hit and know Cattrall is ready to get back to work with HBO for a new television series.
