Geena Davis Makes Comes Back In New Show Exit 19

Geena Davis is making her way back to television in the new series Exit 19. The Oscar winner will be playing the lead role in the new drama as a New York City homicide detective and the mother of two kids. CBS ordered the pilot of the series from writer Jeff Bell.

Davis won an Academy Award for her supporting role in 1988’s The Accidental Tourist and was nominated for another Oscar for Thelma & Louise in 1991. She previously gave the small screen a go in 2006’s Commander in Chief as the first female US president. Her term was cut short when the show was canceled after one season. It will be interesting to see how well she does and to see if the show is any good. We’ll have more details on when the show is expected to start later.
